As an ordinary guy I would have to say my sense of matching colors is not the best. So when it came time to pick out my wedding colors, I just let my wife decide. But if I had known about kuhler beforehand, I am pretty sure that I would have been a lot better equipped.
Essentially kuhler is an Adobe tool (that requires Flash, by the way, so if you're on iDevice, you're out of luck) that offers graphic designers and creative directors different color palettes based on a variety of rules. Users can submit their own personal palettes as well, and obviously since these are just colors there aren't any copyright issues. But I think the coolest thing to do is hit "Create" and make your own palette. The next time I am making something creative or looking for the perfect complementary background color for a photo, this will be my tool of choice. Rock on, Adobe!
Thanks for sharing this list of color picker websites! As someone who is currently planning a wedding, I found your insights incredibly helpful. Selecting the perfect colors for wedding flowers is so important, and having the right tools can make a huge difference. I love the idea of using a color picker to coordinate my floral arrangements with the overall wedding theme. Do you have any recommendations for flower color combinations that work well together? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
